Terms of Service
- You own your material and the posts we make from it.
- You review and approve every post before it is published, and you are responsible for what you publish.
- Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in the app; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Free trials need a card. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the plan starts and you are charged.
1. These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Echoseed ("Echoseed", "we", "us"), operated from the United Arab Emirates. They cover echoseed.app, the web app at me.echoseed.app and the Echoseed Telegram bot (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organisation, such as a church or company, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organisation.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
- Give us accurate information and keep your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.
3. The Service
Echoseed reads material you upload, suggests topics, writes and renders posts (carousels and videos), sends them to you for approval, and, where you connect an account, publishes the posts you approve. We are improving the Service all the time, so features may change. Some features are marked as early or beta and may not always work as expected. We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. Some processing runs on our own computers, so posts may take longer to make at busy times.
4. Your content
- You keep ownership of everything you upload ("Your Material") and of the posts, captions, images and videos the Service makes for you ("Your Posts").
- You give us permission to store, copy, process, adapt, render and display Your Material and Your Posts, and to publish Your Posts to the accounts you connect, only as needed to provide the Service to you. This permission ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for copies we must keep by law and posts already published on your accounts.
- You confirm you have the right to upload Your Material and to let us use it this way. If you upload a book or other work by someone else, you must own it or have permission from the rights holder.
- We do not use Your Material or Your Posts to train AI models, and we do not claim any rights in them beyond what this section says.
5. AI-made content
The Service uses AI to write text and make images, narration and subtitles. AI can be wrong, can misquote, and can produce something similar to content made for others. You are responsible for reviewing every post before you approve it, including any quotes, scripture references, facts and claims. Similar topics or images may be produced for other users, and we cannot promise any post is unique. Where a platform requires you to label AI-made or altered content, you agree to do so; when we publish to YouTube for you, we mark the video as containing AI-generated content.
6. Connected platforms
You may connect accounts on other platforms (for example YouTube or Telegram). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, and you must follow them. In particular:
- YouTube: Echoseed uses the YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's use of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time in Settings or on your Google account's security settings page.
- We are not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube, Google, TikTok, Meta or Telegram. We are not responsible for their services, outages, limits, decisions about your content or account, or changes to their rules or APIs, which may limit what Echoseed can do.
- Some platforms restrict content uploaded by apps until they have reviewed the app. For example, YouTube may keep videos private until Echoseed passes its review; you can still make them public yourself.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- upload or publish anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- publish content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive, or that encourages harm;
- impersonate a person or organisation, or present AI-made content as a real event in a way that misleads;
- send spam or manipulate platforms (for example fake engagement), or break any connected platform's rules;
- try to get around plan limits, access other people's workspaces, probe or overload our systems, or copy or resell the Service without our written agreement.
We may remove content or limit accounts that break these rules (see section 10).
8. Plans, trials and billing
- Plans. Echoseed offers a Free plan and paid plans (currently Seed, Grow and Pro), billed monthly or yearly in US dollars. Each plan's price and limits, such as posts per month, brands, connected social accounts and team members, are shown on the Billing page before you buy. Features marked "Soon" are not yet available; we add them to the plans shown when they are ready, but we do not promise a date. Unused posts do not carry over to the next month.
- Free trial. A paid plan may start with a free trial (currently 7 days), once per workspace. You need a valid payment card to start it. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you are charged the plan price, then again at each renewal.
- Automatic renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. You authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for each period. If a payment fails, we may retry it and may move your workspace to the Free plan if it remains unpaid.
- Changing plans. You can upgrade or downgrade in the app. Upgrades take effect straight away and are charged pro rata for the rest of the period; downgrades may take effect at the next renewal.
- Price changes. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects your subscription. If you don't agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Taxes. Prices do not include taxes such as VAT unless shown. Where we must charge tax, it will be added at checkout.
9. Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel at any time in the app under Billing → Manage billing, or by writing to us. You keep your paid plan until the end of the current period; after that your workspace moves to the Free plan and nothing more is charged.
- Cancelling during a free trial means you are not charged at all.
- Payments are not refundable, including for partly used periods, except where we decide otherwise or where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund. If we charge you in error, we will refund it.
10. Suspension and closing
You can close your account at any time by writing to [email protected]; cancel any paid plan first. We may suspend or close your account, or remove content, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users, the platforms we connect to, or us. Where reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem and download your posts. If we close the Service as a whole, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid fees for the time after it closes. Sections 4 (the part about rights you confirm), 12, 13, 14 and 15 continue after your account ends.
11. Our rights
The Service itself, including its software, design, templates and the Echoseed name and logo, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is open; they do not give you any other rights in it. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
12. Disclaimers
We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise any particular result, such as views, followers or sales, and we do not promise that AI-made content will be accurate, error-free or suitable for your purpose. Nothing in the Service is legal, financial, medical or religious advice.
13. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, revenue, followers or data, or for the actions of connected platforms. Our total liability to you for all claims related to the Service in any 12 months is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in those 12 months or US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
14. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of Your Material, Your Posts as you approved them, or your breach of these terms or of the law, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you help defend it.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Before going to court, please contact us so that we can try to resolve the problem together; most concerns can be settled quickly by email. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, the courts of the United Arab Emirates will have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep any rights the law of the country where you live gives you, including the right to bring a claim there.
16. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the Service changes. We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top; for significant changes we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel and stop using the Service. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. Neither side may transfer this agreement without the other's consent, except that we may transfer it to a company that takes over Echoseed.
